Picture This…

The image is you. Life is good…a family, a home, a car and a job.
You’ve worked for years; Giving it all you have as well as all you could find…
You’re at that stage…you go there (work) everyday…But your mind is 80% somewhere else…
You don’t hate anyone or anything. You’re good at your craft and you make a difference…
What you do is meaningful… to someone, but that someone is not you anymore…
Gazing out of the window,  daydreaming.  Your thoughts create hypnotic pictures …
The scenery is beautiful, engaging and so are you, living life by your design.
The feeling is peaceful and joyous…You’re happy and content… It feels like a perfect day
and time. You smile!
Just when you really focus on what you see and feel, you snap out of it…blink and nod…
wondering … What’s wrong with this picture?
And immediately you know the life you live is no longer the one you desire… Oh well!
You stumble on an inspiring true story that reveal ways to create that lifestyle imagined
in a free eBook called  “Freelance Marketing Secrets”. Intrigued… you read it and
realize a decision and a few simple skills will create new images, depicting the life you
see with your thoughts and feelings.
You go for it! Life is fabulous😍

Strings of Beauty

haywire_custom_guitars_red_335_stratMy granddaughter asked for a “real”guitar for Christmas and I asked why? She responded because I like the sound.  OK…I asked who did she know that played a guitar and she disappeared and returned with this picture and a list (below)… To my surprise many on the list I favor and all played Gibson guitars…I gotta ask you…How many of your favorite guitarist made the list?

*George Benson *Carlos Santana *Chuck Berry *Brian Robertson *Nikki Sixx *Cheryl Crow *Bob Dylan *Jerry Garcia *Grant Green *Jimmy Hendrix *Steve Howe *BB King *Peter Green *Tony Iommi *Joan Jett *Albert King *Lenny Kravitz *John Lennon  *Bob Marley *Paul McCartney *Elvis Presley *Keith Richards *Eddie Suggs *Frank Zappa *Eddie VanHalen.

Quite a few, right?! I bet you’re a baby boomer or a musician… I just love music and never realized how popular the brand is among the “greats”.

It’s a fact that all made significant contributions playing Gibson guitars and there’s twice as many guitarist where she gathered her research (smart kid -huh).

The list includes many veteran musicians with long careers, who have a history of faithful Gibson use. The particular instrument they used was unique or of historical importance.

Now I must admit that I didn’t realize the child had an interest in playing guitar or any other instrument, but I figure if she finds one that is as beautiful as the picture, it  will be a great conversation piece. I’ll also have a reason to strum a tune or two!

What It Takes To Work On The Internet

laptop-lifestyle7

Are you curious about what it takes to work on the internet?
Well, here’s what I know…
*Mindset, skills and tools are “mandatory” for endeavors of health
and wealth online & offline.
*Systems, relationships and mentors -are the “smart moves” of everybody regardless of the product or service that’s offered.
That’s it!
Note: everything you just read makes the web and the world go round…It’s just that simple!
Eventually the “mandatory” (tasks) and the “smart moves” you take, merge… The six actions become three…
1.tools/skills/system + 2.relationships/mentors + 3.mindset
forming your map complete with GPS.
It’s exciting and comes down to deciding committing and taking action. The three things you do everyday anyway.
The difference is you’re the boss…your office is open 24/7-365 and you work when and where you choose!
Whether you’re selling or sharing somebody needs what you offering.  How cool is that?!

Think about it…See the internet in your work future and take the next step!
After three years of going for it alone I’ve found a system that does 90% of the work and allows me to earn as I learn…A smart move for me!

Here’s what I know:
1.A laptop and internet connection give you the freedom to work anywhere…
2.A determined mindset keeps you marching with unwavering faith.
3.Skills emerge in the “Project Make It Happen experience” and success and freedom appear…you’re happier and you’ve done what you were born to do!

Now What?

Untitled design (16)

Congratulations!  Remembering that day (Graduation) makes me smile… It was full of excitement!  The air was easy to breathe and the genie was fulfilling my every wish.  I laughed, dance and celebrated with family and friends and opened all the gifts…amazed at how thoughtful people were with their gift selection  (especially the ones in the envelope).

Feeling grateful and motivated was the order of the day, in fact that feeling lasted a few days…weeks even. Then reality set in …expectations were different; and I felt it.

Now what?

Move out of my parents home, buy a car and live the singles life (urban style)! I wanted it to happen, quick…Realizing the obvious, I knew the entry-level job that I was in wasn’t going to meet the bill. The work-study job was over and the designer things I purchased with my gift cards began to feel like a dumb thing to do. I immediately did the math…basic expenses plus recreation left me in deficit mode… additional income is what I wanted, needed – Now!

The fact that I graduated really meant my support system had changed drastically. I had decisions to make and soon…After-all, I dreamed about this time for many years and I wasn’t about to give up my “urban lifestyle” dream…So the search was on!

Find a better job, work overtime were the first options I thought of and exactly what I did; however having my own business was always my dream and finally years later, I’m a business owner.  I share this story to encourage you to follow your dream Now! It’s your time, embrace it! Do You!

Just So You Know #3

Operation Safe Driver Week
Operation Safe Driver Week

Next week is Operation Safe Driver Week (October 19-25).  A press release by prweb.com  reports that, last year, law enforcement officers stopped 74,765 commercial and passenger vehicle drivers during the 2013 Operation Safe Driver mobilization week; nearly triple the 26,487 stopped during the 2012 event. The top three reasons warnings and citations were issued were: (1) speeding, (2) failing to use a safety belt, and (3) failure to obey traffic control devices.

Law enforcement officers are gearing up to bring the numbers down. The campaign aims to lower the number of deaths and injuries from crashes involving large trucks and buses and cars. Spread the word, Drive smart and be sure to:

  1. Wear a seatbelt.
  2. Put children in proper restraints.
  3. Obey yellow and red lights.
  4. Use your turn signal.
  5. Follow vehicles at a safe distance
  6. Drive the posted speed limit.
  7. Be aware of other drivers and their vehicles
  8. Turn your cell phone off.
  9. Be the passenger with a suspended or cancelled license.
  10. Stop at flashing lights at crosswalks.
  11. Yield/stop to emergency vehicles and peace officers.
  12. Come to a complete stop at all stop signs.
  13. Be the passenger when under the influence of alcohol or other substances.

There are many other reasons to be stopped by the attentive law officers, so do your best and feel free to add to the list in the comment section.

Safe Travels 🙂
