Corvettes 4 Vets

“The willingness of America’s veterans to sacrifice for our country has earned them our lasting gratitude.” – Jeff Miller

We appreciate and are thankful for all of the sacrifices Veterans and their families endured as they served to defend their country.

Think Thanks!

Saying “Thank You” is two of the first words we teach our children to say when they receive something…we make sure they express a visible delight so I think its safe to say that the concept of gratitude is within us. Yet many adults forget, ignore the practice,
or take it for granted not only with people but also with ourselves… Think for a moment how different it will be when living in gratitude is the norm…
On this Thanksgiving day I am grateful for the diversity in all things – human… You!

Dr John Demartini said “What we think about and thank about, we bring about.”  May your day be filled with inspired love, peace, fun and laughter!

Cadillac Baby…YEAH

Cadillac Baby
How that woman loves to ride
Yeah, Cadillac Baby
How that woman loves to ride
She’s crazy ’bout that hydromatic
Cause its such an easy ride
She loves her rollin, how she loves to ball the jack
Crazy bout her rollin, how she loves to ball the jack
She’s crazy about that easy ridin, crazy bout that CadillacTurn on the radio and cruise on down
The avenue
Yeah, turn on the radio and cruise on
Down the avenue
She’s crazy about my caddy
And I ‘m crazy for my baby too
Well, long about midnight she came
Knockin on my door
Yeah, long about midnight she came
Knockin’ on my door
Gotta take out that caddy
Baby wants to ride some more
Yeah at night we went riding
Riding in the rain
She was my baby
And I was her man
She said honey ride a long long time
You rock so easy, so mellow and fine
If you get tired of ridin, give yourself a rest
Park it in the spot that your baby loves the best
Cadillac baby
How that woman loves to ride
Yeah cadillac baby
How that woman loves to ride
Crazy bout that easy ridin’
How she loves that cadillac
Let it Roll
I gotta Roll
All night long
Gotta Roll
All night long
Yes we gotta roll pretty darlin’
Roll all night long

Can’t get the song out of my head…I feel a test drive in my future!

8 Car Care Tips for Smart Women

Car Care Tips for Smart Women
How much do women really know about what’s under the hood of their car—and, the care needed? Here are a few ideas to keep your car running safely and smoothly for years to come:

  1. Create a preventive maintenance checklist
Topping off fluid levels, inspecting belts, hoses and tire pressure, changing engine oil and making sure all the lights work should be done regularly by a car care professional.
  2. Check your engine air filter
The engine air filter is the car’s lung. Check your owner’s manual to see when it should be changed to make sure your car is breathing clearly.
  3. Check your engine oil and filter
Engine oil is the car’s lifeblood. Check your oil level often. Also check the owner’s manual for when to replace the oil and which grade to use.
  4. Know how to check tire pressure and change a tire
A flat tire is never entertaining. Learning how to change it yourself can save lots of time. Ask your car care professional to show you how. Make sure your tires have the correct tire pressure. You can find it in the vehicle owner’s manual or on a decal in the door jamb or glove compartment. While you’re at it, inspect and fill the spare tire.
  5. Control gas consumption
Obeying the speed limit, making sure your tires are properly inflated, removing extra weight from the back seat and trunk all improve your gas mileage.
  6. Check, clean and replace worn wiper blades
Wiper blades should be changed about every six months. Check for cracks regularly and use a wet paper towel to clean the blades.
  7. In case of emergency
Make sure you have a vehicle emergency kit. Bottled water, a flashlight, flares, duct tape, an extra cell phone and charger, energy bars, a blanket, phone number for roadside assistance and a can of Fix-a-Flat would be smart options.
  8. Three resources to keep you smart:
    1. Download the Car Care Guide from
